The most important reason I began seeking out acupuncture was because of infertility. Although, I have suffered from headaches and shoulder tension for years I truly was hoping to find an acupuncturist that could help with my infertility and other minor conditions. For three years my husband and I were trying to become pregnant. I had seen a few other acupuncturists and was never quite satisfied with the care or experience.
I contacted Alison after visiting her website and began a treatment program with her. I was nothing short of amazed when I came across Points of Healing Acupuncture. From the very first phone call, I immediately sensed Alison’s expertise. At my first appointment, she became so much more than an acupuncturist. She learned a lot about me through detailed questions and still asks questions every time I meet with her. Her genuine sense of caring and the calm environment of her facility do wonders for me at every appointment.
While I was receiving fertility treatments Alison did everything possible to understand my outside treatments and how I was feeling. Within less than two months of seeing Alison I became pregnant.
Presently, I am thrilled to report that I am in my fifth month of a very healthy pregnancy and I feel quite sure Alison’s guidance and treatment were instrumental in getting me pregnant during this difficult time. The treatment plan with the acupuncture she provided was a very important part of my success.
Now that I am pregnant I still receive treatments from Alison. I no longer have headaches or feel pain in my upper shoulder either.
I am so deeply impressed in how Alison is committed in providing effective holistic healthcare. She has given me knowledge and tools to take care of my own health and she is a compassionate practitioner. Going to see Alison is one of the best experiences I know that I am doing for myself and I plan on always seeing her for maintaining my general health and well being.
